| My highest match on here is to the uighurs/uyghurs is there any way to determine if I do actually have any actual ancestral ties to these people, or am only matching to them because my dominant ancestry is eurasian? I thought it was the latter with no possible ties to the uyghurs but am just wondering if I'm right. I am 18% asian on here btw.What are the main reasons I would be sharing markers/blocks with them. |

As you point out, this is probably due to the fact that the Uyghurs are an admixture of East Asians and Europeans. If you are like this as well, you may end up looking closest to admixed populations as well. To give you a reference, my score for the region I come from (Tuscany) is 84.01, so you probably need numbers like those to conclude that you have recent ancestry there.
