deCODEme Community Forums – Policies and rules

Registration to this forum is free! Communication is permitted by registered forum members, whether they are deCODEme customers or not. All forum users should abide by the rules and policies detailed below.

By posting in the forums you must agree to and obey the following:

1. The deCODEme forums do not provide medical advice. The content within the deCODEme communication forums should not be regarded as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the deCODEme forum pages.
2. The deCODEme forums are visited regularly on working days and moderated by designated non-medical professional members of our deCODEme team. Any posts from our deCODEme medical professionals will however be clearly identified as such. Our deCODEme moderators can be reached either by replying to their message on the forum, or sending them an e-mail via our customer service department.
3. All posts from users should be considered to be from non-medical professionals unless otherwise clearly stated. Any user, who provides health/medical information in their communication, is asked to include a reference or link to this information when relevant.
4. Please keep your contributions respectful, civil and tasteful. Rudeness, harassing, personal attacks, inflammatory or insulting posts or sexually oriented or racially offensive material will not be tolerated.
5. Do not make multiple postings in different forums. We ask you to post your communication in the most relevant forum and avoid spamming or flooding.
6. Do not post personal information (emails, addresses etc) of other users. Remember this is a public forum so any personal information you disclose about yourself is at your own risk.
7. No advertising or promotion of other products or services is permitted within the deCODEme forums.
8. Users are able to edit their own posts after posting. If a moderator edits another user’s post, this will be displayed.
9. deCODEme reserves the right to:
• Record the dialog in the deCODEme forums.
• Remove communications which are abusive, illegal, or disruptive, or that otherwise fail to conform to the deCODEme forum rules.
• Terminate without warning, a user’s access to the deCODEme forums in case of any breach to the deCODEme forum rules and policies listed above.
